Playing with invented chemical processes, projections, layers of photography and paintings, the daring installations of Maya Rochat consider architectural possibilities, experimenting with transparency and light effects. Living in a Painting is an immersive performance where the visual artist paints in real time, accompanied by the sound work of Buvette, and using large-scale pictorial projections. A communal approach which activates the surrounding space through different scales and rhythms. Maya Rochat depicts in concert with Buvette a moving and contemplative world.
