Histories of movements – archives of emerging choreographies
Sometimes, powerful early work leaves a lasting impression on audiences and professionals alike. They often set the specifics of the esthetics of an artist, from which their career blossom.
Arsenic presents, in collaboration with the Swiss Archives of Performing Arts (SAPA) and la Fête de la Danse Lausanne, a subjective selection of archives – pieces performed 12 to 40 years ago – that have graced our stages. An invitation to observe these distinctive movements with today’s eyes.
