This dynamic theatre workshop invites participants to embark on a journey of physical and cultural discovery. Through a series of guided exercises and games, we will:
• Investigate the interplay between movement, emotion, language, and culture, and how these elements shape our physical presence on stage.

Ahmed Alrokh is a Palestinian artist and graduate of the Freedom Theatre Acting School in Jenin. In his time with the Freedom Theatre, Ahmed performed in productions including The Island by Athol Fugard, Animal Farm, Men in the Sun, Suicide Note from Palestine, and The Journey….. He has toured throughout Palestine and in Europe, sharing the experience of life in a Palestinian refugee camp to audiences through physical theatre, commedia dell’arte, and Temporary Theatre.in 2012- 2014 leading the freedom bus project together with Palestinian artists. In 2014, he attended a conference in New York City, hosted by the Middle East Institute at Columbia University, and Georgetown University, to discuss the merging of art and politics. In 2015, he toured England with the Freedom Theatre’s production of The Siege. Also in 2015, he was cast in Idol, a film by Hani Abu Assad. In 2016, he wrote and directed his own project, entitled Math Exam, about the impact of exams on Palestinian students. In 2018 finished his study in Cinema at NYFA, working since then in the cultural resistance of Palestine and internationally.
