Amour Grenade is the taste of the fruit. It is also the reconciliation of opposites. There is Daya, and there is Diana. Daya Jones, who brings her surgical precision to hip-hop battles, is a young woman whose competitors do not question her gender. Diana Akbulut, Swiss of Kurdish origin, remembers the land of her father and mother, in a feast of senses and gestures reconquered. Between Daya and Diana lies an attempt to no longer separate these avatars. It would be wrong to consider this first creation solely from the perspective of origins, feminism or politics. For this choreographer and dancer, it is about restoring embodiment to the identities that flow through her.
