Biography
Choreographer and dancer Aina Alegre has been creating works and performances of very diverse formats since 2010. She approaches choreographic creation as a space for opening up new imaginaries around the body. Through dance, she explores various forms of collective embodiment, and her work is conceived as an “orchestration” of movement, sound, light, and space. For several years, Aina Alegre has developed a practice that is as musical as it is choreographic. Her pieces are also informed by ongoing research into memory and archives, themes that run through her entire body of work.

In 2014, she founded the company STUDIO FICTIF in Paris to support her projects and creations. Since then, her work has been presented in countries including Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, Greece, Switzerland, Germany, Peru, and Romania. Since 2023, she has co-directed the Centre Chorégraphique National de Grenoble together with dancer Yannick Hugron.
