ROTA is a decolonial fiction narrated by three voices taking us to the heart of colonial shadows. Built on strategies of resistance, the performance breaks open a time where the characters attempt to tear down coloniality. Through the stories and experiences from the South, the audience is invited to reflect on social class, colonialism and most of all on reparations.

ROTA is a space in time, collective, shared and created with the audience. Through music, translations, popular and romantic noises, poems and digestion, ROTA asks us: can we fix even part of the past?

What is ROTA/X is broken, bruised, beyond repair. Like in the performance, where the already bruised characters are fighting against time and deep wounds.
