This Jungle has no precise biogeographical meaning, rather it is imaginary and symbolic. In front of an idealised backdrop made from both natural and artificial vegetation, Audrey Cavelius confronts her doubles: the real or imagined doubles which we show to others, or which are assigned to us. From conscious digital avatar to simple projection, she follows these mirror games to the outer reaches of alienation. After Séries, Variations and Abymes, the performer continues her solo exploration into identity. Her latest proposition distils the liberating power of our capacity for multiplicity.
