In a rapidly changing world, where technological breakthrough and Artificial Intelligence reshape our reference points, Body Sequencer offers a poetical and reassuring read of our future. A meeting between a visual artist and a dancer-choreographer created the opportunity for a dialogue between bodies and machines, reality and virtuality, humanity and AI, shared here in an interactive and sensorial performance.
Together, they compose a “cyber cosmos”, crossed by luminous beams, sonic textures and floating shapes, creating a sensorial continuum between reality and virtuality.
In Body Sequencer, the body becomes an interface: disguised prosthesis, extensions moved by one’s thoughts, surfaces able to absorb or broadcast. Spaces blurring the lines between living and mechanical matters.

Biographies
KRASSEN KRASTEV:
Since 2002, Krassen Krastev has developed a practice where dance, performance, and visual arts intersect within hybrid dispositifs. Rooted in extreme physicality and bodily endurance, his work opens onto symbolic and sensory dimensions, where gesture becomes a vehicle for imagery, mythological resonance, and political charge.
From his earliest creations, Krastev has explored the body as a site of transformation and resistance, addressing questions of gender, sexuality, and identity. This approach has led him to create works in which the performing body is at once subject, material, and critical instrument.
In CLSTRS, he sculpts a choreography of collisions and alliances, positioning the stage as a laboratory for hybrid forms. With Tun.el, he draws from the history and underground architecture of Bucharest to create a performance in which space becomes a living memory. In On & On & On (created with Caroline Lam and David Zagari), he develops a kinetic writing akin to ritual, grounded in rotation and gravity.
This evolution reflects an expansion of his field of inquiry: from a body-centered exploration toward an integration of environment—spatial, sonic, historical, and mythological. His projects are also defined by a strong commitment to collaborative processes: encounters with other artists, anthropologists, visual artists, and musicians form a structural component of his practice.
