Like a hymn to memory, More and More invokes ritual to revive memories and bring departed presences back to the present.
The body stages itself in unlimited encounters of memories, between a poetics of sadness and joy in presence as well as in absence. Objects are used and reused throughout a ceremony of different ceremonial offerings. The body is offered not for personal pleasure, but as an acknowledgement – perhaps of a past to be healed.
Each ceremony becomes a presentation dedicated to generosity and shared memory. How do we continue to remember our most precious moments, how do we go back in time and recall the details of an encounter with a brother, a sister, a mother, a father, colleagues, or perhaps a lover?
Beyond these questions and through transcendental practices, More and More invites us to communicate with an afterlife for the purpose of reconciliation.
