For years and years and years, Redwan has taken on many different identities, changing his name whenever he feels like it. These different characters help him to transform the judgments made upon him, melting them like snow in the sun.
Among these characters, on both the brightest and darkest of days, the one and only non-fictional: Carmen Carat. A whimsical, joyful and unseemly creature who has been for all his life Guilty Carmen.
Carmen Carat’s secret, baroque life had to be hidden from view across time and horizons. But the stage will be the place for her to finally explode into the light of day, in all her brilliance. A time for party and pleasure. And to unveil herself, for all to see.
As a singer, dancer and cabaret artist, Carmen throws herself into dazzling, whimsical and dubious acts, even if it means creating scandals or crashing on the floor. In the blink of an eye, she allows us to risk being whoever we want, however we want; to spill out in all directions, magnificently.
With Carmen Carat, get ready: anything goes.
