chimère raises questions about gender and the construction of identity through play. In the context of a workshop given by artists Anne-Lise Tacheron and Daphnée Gharaee to various classes in the city of Lausanne, recycled toys were made available to be modified and transformed. The children’s infinite imagination and construction of identity were given free rein through the appropriation of standardised and industrialised objects.
