In an indefinitely distant future, where humanity has survived a total digital collapse, an expert of the past attempts to “reanimate” Joël Maillard by a not-very successful process of apparition, from a manuscript that Joël Maillard will have written shortly before his death at the very end of this century (very old, and particularly well-preserved thanks to regenerative medicine). This rediscovered manuscript will be the only testament to this entirely digital age. For this work-in-progress showing of his new piece—in March 2019 at Arsenic—Joël Maillard promises, as usual, a work of science fiction full of humour, tenderness and whimsy.
