We classify as we can, but we are always classifying. —Claude Lévi-Strauss. It is a question that preoccupies all of science and all of philosophy: how should we categorise things and beings? How should we name them to distinguish them? And how can we do it well? Does the act of naming something or someone not already pose a troublesome level of expectation as to what that entity can or cannot be? And yet we must bring ourselves to do it, we cannot avoid it: we must call a spade a spade. Thanks to the most advanced techniques of theatrical research and the latest advances in this spiritual and scientific experimentation, the Old Masters artist collective is offering a collective experience of emancipation and reappropriation of codes, imbued with their characteristic irony, with the humble aim of creating a new world together.
